Denture Rebases and Relines

Keep Your Dentures Fitting Comfortably

At Alberta Denture Centre, we offer professional rebasing and relining services to help your dentures remain secure, functional, and comfortable.

As your gums and jawbone naturally change over time, dentures may begin to feel loose or cause irritation. Instead of replacing your entire denture, a rebase or reline can restore stability, improve comfort, and extend the life of your appliance, keeping your smile healthy and confident.

Rebase vs. Reline – What’s the Difference?

Denture Rebase

A rebase involves replacing the entire pink acrylic base of your denture while keeping the existing teeth. It’s an excellent solution when the base has become worn, cracked, or unstable. Rebasing restores strength and comfort without the need for a full denture replacement.

Denture Reline

A reline reshapes the inner surface of your denture so it adapts more closely to your gums. This is often needed when dentures feel loose due to natural changes in the mouth over time. We provide both soft and hard relines, designed to improve fit, and restore comfort.

When Is It Time to Rebase or Reline?

If your dentures slip, feel uncomfortable, or no longer fit like they once did, it may be time for a rebase or reline.

We recommend having your dentures checked every two years to ensure a proper fit. Addressing issues early not only helps prevent sore spots and discomfort but also reduces the need for major repairs, saving you both time and money while protecting your smile.

Restore Comfort, Protect Your Smile
